Plantar Fasciitis – Foot Pain
Mission Viejo Chiropractor treats foot pain and plantar fasciitis
Plantar Fasciitis is easy to diagnose but tricky to treat correctly. If you wake up in the morning and your first couple of steps are painful in and around the heel area of the bottom of your foot, you probably have plantar fasciitis.
You’ve probably learned to ignore the pain and decided that you have to live with this common foot condition. Most people that consult my office are at the end of their rope. They have had rounds of cortisone injections into the plantar fascia and are now debating whether or not to have surgery. In my three years of treating plantar fasciitis, I so far have a 90% success rate.
Patients that follow through with their recommended treatment plan can expect permanent and complete relief. The treatment plans vary by severity, how long the problem has been there, how bad the tissue feels, and how committed the patient is to doing the prescribed home exercises. On average, the recommeneded plan for permanently treating plantar fasciitis is about six visits.
